Junior Lady Jackets place third at meet
The Sheridan Junior Lady Yellowjackets track and field team took part in the Harding University Junior High Invitational in Searcy on Tuesday, Feb. 28, placing third in the event.
Jackets win three over weekend
The Sheridan Yellowjackets’ baseball team played three games in two days to finish off last week, winning all three games. On Friday, March 3, the Jackets defeated Hot Springs 6-0, then on Saturday, March 4, Sheridan beat North Little Rock 5-2 before taking down Searcy 11-4 later that day.
Lady Jackets set records at indoor championship
The Class 5A State Indoor Track Meet was held recently at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, with the Sheridan Lady Yellowjackets setting school records while finishing third overall in a field of more than 20 schools.
