The Sheridan Yellowjackets track and field team ended the Senior Georgia Pacific Relays in Gurdon with a combined team score of 72.50, which was good for third at the event
The Sheridan Lady Yellowjackets traveled to Gurdon on Thursday, April 17 for the Senior Georgia Pacific Relays, putting forth a fourth-place finish with a cumulative team score of 52 points.
The Sheridan Lady Yellowjackets’ softball team lost for just the second and third time this season, falling 8-3 at Monticello on Monday, April 14 and 13-8 at Fayetteville on Friday, April 18.
On Tuesday, April 15, the Sheridan Junior Yellowjackets hosted the 2025 River City Conference Meet, with several athletes putting forth scoring efforts.
The Sheridan Yellowjackets added a trio of low-scoring wins to their resume, pushing the team’s winning streak to six games and making them winners in nine of their last 10 games.
The Poyen Lady Indians were on the road against Parkers Chapel on Tuesday, April 8. Despite falling behind 3-2 in the bottom of the third inning, Poyen’s bats came alive in the later innings to secure the 12-6 victory.
