Apartment murder, fire suspect facing charges

The suspect in the July murder of a local apartment manager and gunshot injury to a maintenance worker along with arson at the apartment has pleaded not guilty to three felony charges and is still incarcerated at Sheridan Detention Center with a $1 million bond.

Sheridan jail escapee in custody

At 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 16, Javin L. Cranford of Sheridan escaped from the Sheridan Detention Center at the Sheridan Police Department, but was apprehended 10 hours later at a Sheridan apartment complex.

Shooting at Sheridan apartments leaves one dead, another injured
