Charlsie Standley, 90, of Glenwood, Ark., went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 31, 2023. She was born on July 27, 1932, in Glenwood the daughter of Joe Presley Smith and LoRetta Tidwell Smith.
Alan Eugene Goolsby, 76, is now rejoicing with Jesus, having passed from this world on May 24, 2023, at 6:36 p.m. Alan died peacefully with his wife, daughter, and pastor at his side. After 11 days in hospice, he simply took one breath and then not the next.

Bradley Ray “Brad” Smith of Sheridan, Ark., was born Nov. 13, 1975, at Pine Bluff, Ark., the son of Sue Reaves Herrera and the late Beauford Ray "Biff" Smith.
Elwin Leonard Goolsby, 81, of Hot Springs, Ark., formerly of Sheridan, Ark., passed away April 26, 2023, at CHI St. Vincent Hospital in Hot Springs. He was born in Pine Bluff, Ark., on Nov. 4, 1941, to parents Wilton Leonard Goolsby and Juanita Elizabeth McCool Goolsby.
Charles “Chuck” Tripp, 62, died on April 9, 2023. Chuck resided in Russellville, Ark., where he was above all a lifelong learner and encourager for others to learn. Whether in the church, public schools, or in a healthcare setting, he was the consummate teacher.
