Charles O. “Chief Chuck” Johnson, 77, of Prattsville, Ark., passed away Jan. 18, 2018. He was born Sept. 3, 1940, in Benton, Ark. Charles retired as a Navy Chief Petty Officer after 20 years of service and was a member of the American Legion Post #19.

Winfred Earl "Winkie" May was born June 14, 1935, to Victor Dow and Bertha McCool May of Sheridan. He was the fourth of five boys. Winkie went to heaven on Jan. 9, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers: Victor, Jimmy Dale, and Freddie May.
