Mainline Health Systems recently announced Dr. Scott Winston’s retirement from The Winston Clinic. Blayne Beene, D.O., will succeed Winston as physician at the clinic in Sheridan. Beene has been on Mainline’s staff since 2021 and has been serving at Winston Clinic for eight months.

The Grant County Extension Office will host a Beef and Forage Production Workshop on Thursday, April 6 at 6 p.m. The meeting will be conducted at the Memorial Building located at 202 W. Pine St. in Sheridan.
The Board of Directors of C & L Electric Cooperative has named David Vondran as the new CEO/General Manager. Board President Robert Floyd said, “We are excited to announce David Vondran as the newly appointed CEO of C&L Electric.” Vondran succeeded Greg Smith who retired in December.
