Sheridan Schools Pre-K registration announced

Sheridan School District has rescheduled the Pre-K registration for the 2020-2021 school year. Pre-K registration will be held at both Sheridan Elementary and East End Elementary campuses beginning May 11.

On May 1, during a virtual awards ceremony, Sheridan High School Teacher Justin Turner was named the 2020 Adviser of the Year by the Arkansas Scholastic Press Association.

Turner teaches journalism and creative writing and serves as the yearbook sponsor for SHS. According to SHS Principal Jason Burks, Turner is dedicated to his students and their success. "His yearbook staff has received many accolades over the years," said Burks.
