Post Office repairs underway

Repair work began last week on the Sheridan Post Office after suffering damage during a storm on Jan. 11. Since the closure of the post office after receiving substantial storm damage, Sheridan P.O. Box mail has been routed through the Prattsville Post Office while all other mail is routed through Pine Bluff. However, a mobile postal unit is now open at the Sheridan location to handle small packages and mail drop off along with purchases of stamps, money orders, etc. No completion or reopening date for the Sheridan Post Office has been presented to the public yet.
