Storm hits Sheridan post office, damage temporarly closes office

DAMAGE TO THE SHEIRDAN POST OFFICE caused by an early morning storm on Jan. 12 has left the office temporarily closed in order for repairs to be made. Mail service has been rerouted through a nearby post office, and P.O. Box mail is being distributed through nearby Prattsville Post Office with box holders able to pick up their mail at that location. Photos by Gretchen Ritchey
