Traffic fizzles for solar eclipse

While some residents enjoyed the show of the April 8 solar eclipse from the comforts of their own property others took to the roads and waterways to grab a glimpse of the skies, but the hype and anticipation of possible bumper to bumper traffic and influxes of visitors seemed to fizzle out as the day came to fruition, according to local authorities who say traffic even appeared to be lighter than usual.
