County disaster declaration approved by governor

GRANT COUNTY has been named in a storm disaster declaration approved by the Arkansas governor as a result of a storm in early Feburary that included several days of icy conditions and wide spread damage like the downed treees and power lines in the above photo that left much of downtown Sheridan out of power. Power line damage across the county left many residents witout power for days and some areas a week a more after the storm.
