Citing health reasons, both Bobby Jeffery and Mary Mel Nixon have decided to retire from the Board of Directors of Peoples Bank.Both had served on the Board since the original organization of Peoples Bank in the year 2000.And both, in announcing their retirement, expressed that serving on the Board of Directors of Peoples Bank had been an honor and pleasure, and thanked the other directors for their friendship through the years.

Sheridan businessman Brent Winston has been elected to the Board of Directors of Peoples Bank, filling a position previously held by his late father, W. A. Winston, who was one of the original organizers of Peoples Bank in the year 2000.
