Sheridan students named AP Scholars for recent advanced placement exam scores

During May 2021, students at Sheridan High School took a total of 461 Advanced Placement exams that tested the content knowledge and skills gained in each of their AP courses. Each qualifying score of 3, 4, or 5 equates to earned college credit, tuition savings, and proof of a student's ability to handle college-level coursework. In the upcoming school year, SHS will expand its offerings to a total of 20 AP courses, making it one of the local leaders in the number of AP courses available.

Henderson State announces Dean's List, Honor Roll
Henderson State University has announced the students listed on the Dean's List and Honor Roll for the Spring 2021 semester.
To be named to the Dean's List, a student must have achieved a 4.0 grade point average for the entire semester. To make the Honor Roll, a student must have received at least a 3.5 grade point average for the semester.

SHRC reaches 75 Percent Vaccination Goal
The Arkansas Health Care Association (AHCA) announced recently that Sheridan Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center has vaccinated 75 percent of staff with COVID-19 vaccinations. The benchmark is part of a nationwide goal set by the American Health Care Association and LeadingAge to vaccinate 75 percent of the approximately 1.5 million nursing home staff by June 30, 2021.

Chapter Y of the PEO Sisterhood is proud to announce this year's P.E.O. scholarship recipients.

P.E.O. is an international philanthropic, educational organization which promotes increased educational opportunities for women around the world. With nearly 6,000 local chapters in the United States and Canada, P.E.O. gives scholarships and loans to deserving women for them to continue their post-secondary education.
