Sheridan All-Stars perform well at state tournaments
Several Sheridan teams were represented in the Arkansas All-Star State Tournament from June 23rd-June 25th in Conway, with the Sheridan 7 and Under All-Stars making it to the championship game in their bracket.

Peoples Bank Junior Jackets run rule El Dorado
The Sheridan Peoples Bank Yellowjackets Junior American Legion team took advantage of solid hitting beginning in the second inning to run rule El Dorado 10-0 Tuesday night in Sheridan.

Senior Jackets perform well at the Decker World Series Classic in Omaha, Nebraska
The Sheridan McCoy Tygart Yellowjackets Senior American Legion team took a trip to Omaha, Nebraska for the Decker World Series Classic on June 21st-25th, and competed well, according to head coach Mike Moore.

Senior Jackets take down El Dorado Oilers in double header
The Sheridan McCoy Tygart Yellowjackets Senior American Legion team took down the El Dorado Oilers in both games of a double header Tuesday night in Sheridan.
In game one the Yellowjackets jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning beginning when El Dorado walked Chance Wallingsford on the first at bat. Austin Wright would then hit an RBI double to right center, bringing in Wallingsford in for the first score of the game. A wild pitch would allow Wright to advance from first to second, and Montana Korte would hit an RBI single, bringing in Wright for the second score of the game. The Yellowjackets would then load the bases and score one final run as the Oilers walked Nathan Kirkpatrick, bringing Korte across the plate.
The Oilers would score two in the top of the second inning, beginning with an RBI but Colton Pratt which brought in Cody Chandler from second base. Hunter Brantley would hit an RBI single to bring in Joe Lowe before the end of the inning.
Both teams would go an inning and a half without scoring before El Dorado’s Blake Mclellerd was thrown out while attempting to steal home plate.
