With bright colors flashing in the air, YJ Nation saw fireworks for the first time ever being shot off at half-time during the Oct. 25 Yellowjacket game for the Think Pink event. SHS National Honor Society displayed fireworks to honor all those in our community who have been impacted by cancer. We appreciate the community's support of our efforts.


Sheridan hits ground running against Mountain Home and never looks back
RUSSELLVILLE - The Sheridan Yellowjackets put together one of its most complete performances, dismantling the Mountain Home Bombers in the process by a score of 33-7 and racking up stats that even surprised the coaches. The Jackets, playing on a clear, pleasant evening at Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys Stadium as a home game, started in with the run and pretty much kept it on the ground the entire game, picking up 379 yards in 44 attempts.

Greenwood blanks Sheridan, cruises to win
Except for one game, Greenwood High School has dominated all of its opponents this year, and Friday night's game against Sheridan was no different.

Greenwood scored early and often against the Yellowjackets, sending the Sheridan team home with a score of 42-0, with 35 of those points coming in the first half.
