Peter Pan flies full-house crowd to Neverland
PERFORMERS YOUNG AND OLD flew sold-out crowds to Neverland this weekend with the Grant County Community's first production since the group's creation earlier this year, Peter Pan. The group gave two performances, Oct. 18-19, on stage at Sheridan Elementary School with both performances being sold out sending some last minute ticket seekers to take to social media in hopes of finding a few extra tickets someone might be willing to part with.

City following county's lead, will go solar
The Sheridan City Council voted last week to pursue an arrangement with a solar energy company that could save the city as much as $2 million over 30 years.

Meds collected by Sheriff's Office during 'Take Back' event
It was enough to fill up a pick-up truck.
That was how Grant County Sheriff's Department's Chief Deputy Pete Roberts described the amount of drugs the office collected during the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day event.
In all, the county collected 370 pounds of medicines that were either expired, unused or unwanted.

Angels Tree program accepting applications, angels can be adopted
The beginning of November marks the start of the holiday season for many, and the Family Resource Center is ready to help families in need and assure that Grant County children will have a merry Christmas through the annual Angels Tree program. Applications for the 2019 Grant County Angels Tree are now being accepted and will continue to be accepted through Friday, Nov. 29.

Dozens of Sheridan-area residents had their bank accounts hit for several thousands of dollars in a skimming operation last week that occurred after they got gas at the Murphy USA location on South Rock Street.
